In this assembly the pillar and bearing
cage can leave the top of the bearing
bush completely. At the lower end of
the bearing bush the retaining washer
meets the circlip and the pillar cannot
leave the bearing cage. The bearing
cage is supplied complete with
retaining washer, circlip and screw.

In this assembly the end of the pillar
and the retaining washer can leave
the lower end of the bearing bush,
and all bearings remain pre-loaded
and in contact with the bearing pillar
and bush.

The bearing cage is supplied
complete with a retaining washer and
screw.

Mounting Instructions

Ball bearing guide bushes are mounted and secured in position as follows.

1. Degrease with acetone or similar and wipe carefully.

2. Apply a thin layer of retaining compound on the two surfaces and position the bush, whilst turning in the bore.

3. Allow to harden for the required time i.e. 4 hours at 22°C.
